Privacy Policy

jubie is a kids' party planning app. This policy explains what information the app accesses, how it is used, and your rights regarding that information.

1. Data stored on your device

All party information you enter — including kids' names, dates, guest lists, and notes — is stored locally in a database on your device. This data is never transmitted to our servers or any third party. It remains entirely under your control and is deleted when you uninstall the app.

2. Device permissions

Photo Library — used to let you choose a cover photo for your party invitation, and to save the finished invitation image to your library. Photos are accessed on-device only and never uploaded anywhere.
Calendar — used to add your party date as an event in your calendar. Calendar data is written on-device only and never transmitted.

You can revoke these permissions at any time in your device's Settings app.

3. Information you choose to send us

The app includes two optional feedback forms:

Venue suggestion — lets you submit a venue name, address, website, category, and a note about why it is great.
Bug report — lets you describe a problem and the steps to reproduce it.
Incorrect venue info report — lets you flag inaccurate venue details and suggest a correction.

When you submit a form, the information you typed is sent to Formspree (formspree.io), a form-handling service, and delivered to our inbox. We use this information only to review feedback and improve the app. We do not share it with other parties. Formspree's own privacy policy is available at formspree.io/legal/privacy-policy.

These forms are entirely optional. You do not need to submit anything to use the app.

4. Data we do not collect

jubie does not collect or transmit:

Your name, email address, or any account information (the app has no accounts)
Your location
Device identifiers or advertising IDs
Usage analytics or crash reports
Any data from children — the app is a tool for parents and guardians, not for use by children directly

5. Children's privacy (COPPA)

jubie is designed for parents and guardians planning parties for their children. The app is not directed at children, does not knowingly collect personal information from children, and does not allow children to submit information directly. Children's names entered into the app are stored locally on your device and never transmitted to us.

6. Your rights (GDPR / CCPA)

Because all party data lives exclusively on your device, you have full control over it at all times. You can delete individual parties within the app, or delete all data by uninstalling the app.

For any feedback you have voluntarily submitted, you may request deletion by emailing us at the address below and we will remove it from our inbox records within 30 days.

7. Data retention

On-device data: retained until you delete it or uninstall the app.
Voluntarily submitted feedback: retained in our inbox for as long as needed to act on it, then deleted.

8. Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
